The SX8600  "all-in-one" Professional Call Handler /Call Manager / Auto Attendant with call Greeting (day and night mode) plus Music on Hold adapter / player/ recorder supports up to 4 co lines and up to 50 telephones. This model activates any telephone via the telephone's HOLD button! To activate the music on hold simply press the HOLD button on the phone. To return to the call just re-select that line

Easy Installation: This device plugs into your lines. 
Just Plug the IN jacks to  the  wall jacks for L1/L2 and  L3/L4 then plug the AC adapter That is it!!.  there is  even convenient built-in  Phone jacks to allow you to plug in one of your phones, if  you need to share the wall jack. 

This Model automatically works on all of your phones within a10000 Sq. feet office space and when a hold button is pressed it automatically activates the audio! 

SX8600 is a also call manager that answers the incoming calls, provides day or night greetings, keeps the calls in a professional and pleasant "on hold environment with music/message on hold" until the calls can be handled. Other call manager /auto attendant devices or services, answer an incoming line only, provide a greeting and then ring-through to the phones or go to voice mail, this creates either a non stop "ringing stress" or just a voice mail message, however SX8600 manages each call all the way so that any unanswered line is automatically taken to "on Hold" and then ringed back at 1 minutes intervals until it can be answered.

    Please Note: "Hold Button" activation may be impossible to achieve with some phone models, or when using some combinations of desktop and cordless phones and answering machines. in that case device needs to be configured to activate via "Flash"

Auto Attendant and call handling functions:

Four line Capacity: SX8600 can handle up to 4 incoming calls simultaneously, the number of rings to answer the calls and the period to hold the calls on hold can be set independently for each line from 1 to 4 rings and from 5 to 30 minutes.
Multi Line PBX: Two or more SX8600 can be used to support 6 lines, 8 lines or more.
User-Recorded greetings: SX8600 comes with a flash card with a total of over 17 minutes of high quality digital voice storage for up to four messages: a day greeting of up to 30 seconds, a night greeting of up to 30 seconds, a transfer message of up to 4 seconds, and a music/message on hold of up to 16.25 minutes
Built-in Music on Hold: SX8600 has integrated music on hold player/repeater with full recording capability.
Built-in Music on Hold adapter: SX8600 has integrated controller/adapter to support standard 1 to 4 line telephones for music on hold functions after the calls are answered and placed on hold as well.
Ring-Through Modes: SX8600 can be set via simple slide switch for:
1) Music on hold function only - no call answering , calls are answered live by office staff and when placed on hold they get music on hold.

2) Greetings plus music on hold, calls are answered with the day greeting then ringed through until answered by office staff or an answering device or service, SX8600 provides music on hold if the calls are placed on hold

3) Greeting plus call manager plus music on hold, each call is answered with the day greeting then ringed through for office staff to answer, if the call is not answered at a pre-specified number of rings then the call is automatically taken to music on hold and the ringing stops, every minute the call is ringed through again at another pre-specified number of rings so that it can be answered, this process is repeated until the call is answered or a pre-specified number of minutes (up to 30 minutes) has reached at which time the call will ring through until answered by a staff, SX8600 provides music on hold if the the call is placed on hold.

User programmable: SX8600 can be programmed for each incoming line independently for the number of rings to answer the call after playing the greetings from 1 to 4 rings, for the number of rings to answer the call again at the 1 minute periodic intervals from 1 to 4 rings and for the number of minutes to hold the call from 5 to 30 minutes.
Display lights: in addition to ringing through the phone themselves, SX8600 indicates with its LED lights which lines are in use, which lines are kept on music on hold during call manager intervals and which lines are on music on hold after the calls are answered and placed on hold.
Full connectivity: if a line is not occupied with an incoming call it can be used for an outgoing call automatically, if the line is occupied with an incoming call, selecting the line will stop the music on hold and connects the call, no need to wait for any greetings to finish.
Full power failure protection: In the event of any power failures, all lines are passed through to telephones or the phone system, all the settings on the SX8600 remain unchanged and kept in the flash memory, music on hold playback and repeat functions resumes automatically once the power is restored.
Night mode: In night mode SX8600 will answer calls and play the night greeting message, after the night greeting message is played it then rings the lines again so that it can be answered by the answering machine or any phone company voice mail or answering service. This way the night message can inform the callers to stay on the line to leave a message even for a specific voice mail extension.
Telemarketer Zap:This device automatically zaps the unwanted telemarketers calls.
